POKÉMON

Spur-Mesh Lv. 55
 Steel
OT: Banzu
Quiet nature.
4/19/2011
Union
Met at Lv. 5.
Good endurance.

Ability: Plus (Boosts the Sp. Atk stat by 50% if another Pokémon has Plus or Minus.)
Moves:
Vice Grip
Charge
Thunder Shock
Gear Grind
Bind
Charge Beam
Autotomize
Mirror Shot
Screech
Discharge
Metal Sound
Shift Gear
Secret Power (TM94)

Breeding: Mineral group, 21 cycles
Personality/Notes: The first Pokémon that Banzu bonded with, Spur-Mesh is quiet and does little to draw attention to itself beyond its continual grinding away. It enjoys watching Banzu work, and finds watching him shape metal with his Enlightened ability endlessly fascinating. It rarely strays far from Banzu, being content with simply being with him. Banzu and Spur-Mesh volunteer whatever help they think the other needs without asking, but don't assume that it will be given, though they would be surprised if it wasn't. Spur-Mesh has the unique position of being able to see Banzu at his most open and honest and trusts him completely. Although technically genderless, Banzu thinks of it as a pair of males and named them as such, with one name for each face; "Spur" is the gear on the left and "Mesh" is the gear on the right. The name is a straightforward reference to the fact that they're a pair of spur gears that are meshed together.

Facet Lv. 55
 Rock  Fairy
OT: Banzu
Rash nature.
1/16/2014
Caverns
Met at Lv. 15.
Highly curious.

Ability: Clear Body (Prevents other Pokémon from lowering its stats.)
Moves:
Tackle
Harden
Rock Throw
Sharpen
Smack Down
Light Screen (TM16)
Reflect
Stealth Rock
Guard Split
Ancient Power
Flail
Skill Swap
Power Gem
Stone Edge
Moonblast

Breeding: Fairy group, Mineral group, 26 cycles
Personality/Notes: Facet is quite curious and willing to try anything once, even when it might not be a good idea. Banzu told Facet that he would see to it that it got fed and taken care of if it would assist and protect him when needed, and Facet is fine with that arrangement, though perhaps a little over-eager at times. When in Union, Facet often plays the role of a table, holding Banzu's tools or groceries on its ledge. Although technically genderless, Banzu thinks of Facet as male and refers to it as such. It's name is a reference to the crystals on its body.

Multi  Lv. 55
 Normal
OT: Banzu
Hardy nature.
3/23/2014
Union
Met at Lv. 1.
Alert to sounds.

Ability: Technician (Increases the base power of moves marked with a * by 1.5×.)
Moves:
Teleport (Sketched from Yukari Yakumo.)
Flash (Sketched from Squid Girl.)
Heal Pulse (Sketched from Deimos, Rei's Kirlia.)
Psychic (Sketched from Banzu's Beheeyem.)
Sketch
Sketch

Breeding: Field group, 21 cycles
Personality/Notes: Multi is proof that Banzu makes a bad "father". Banzu treating Multi as a valued employee rather than a friend or a child has led to the Smeargle having a desperate need for people to value him for himself, not just what he can do. He tries to be as flashy and dramatic as he can to draw attention to himself, but also makes sure not to annoy Banzu too much for fear that Banzu would send him away and leave him alone if he was too much of a bother. Banzu is highly unlikely to do something like that, but has failed spectacularly in making that clear to Multi. He works hard and obeys Banzu's orders in hopes of being appreciated for his loyalty, but only gets appreciation for his skills and quick learning. He's quite clever and intelligent. Multi's Speed is high for a Smeargle, but his Defense and Special Defense are both quite low. Banzu originally called him "Multitool", referencing his potential to do lots of different things, but it quickly proved unwieldy to say and was shortened to just "Multi".

Kerf  Lv. 33
 Normal  Water
OT: Banzu
Hardy nature.
3/25/2014
Lake Shrine
Met at Lv. 8.

Moves:
Tackle
Growl
Defense Curl

Rollout
Water Gun
Headbutt
Hyper Fang
Yawn
Amnesia

Breeding: Water 1 group, Field group, 16 cycles
Personality/Notes: Banzu sought her out when he was looking for help harvesting wood. Kerf is focused on doing an excellent job felling trees, but she's a bit miffed that Banzu won't let her build his workshop as a giant beaver dam. She's named after the term for the width of a cut made by a saw.

Erg Lv. 55
 Ground  Ghost
OT: Banzu
Hardy nature.
4/3/2014
Ruins
Met at Lv. 19.
Sturdy body.

Ability: Iron Fist (Moves marked with * are 20% stronger.)

Mud-Slap
Rollout
Shadow Punch *
Iron Defense
Mega Punch *
Magnitude
Dynamic Punch *
Night Shade
Curse
Heavy Slam
Earthquake

Breeding: Mineral group, 26 cycles
Personality/Notes: Banzu sought out Erg because he needed a strong Pokémon to transport materials to the port and perform heavy labor. Erg is best described as "dumb muscle" (despite not technically having any); it's uncreative and has a lot of trouble following complex instructions. It has a competitive streak and likes showing off how strong it is, especially how much stronger than others it is. Although technically genderless, Banzu thinks of Erg as male and refers to it as such. It's named after a unit of energy and mechanical work.

Hex

Breeding: Amorphous group, 21 cycles
Personality/Notes: Driver is a mischievous and playful Pokémon and enjoys making things come to life to scare and delight. It has a fondness for terrorizing entertaining children and particularly enjoys being the center of attention for crowds. Banzu sought it out after hearing of what another Rotom did during the siege of Caldera, and it came along readily with him with the promise of a more lively environment. Although technically genderless, Banzu thinks of it as male and refers to it as such. Its name is a reference to the fact that it can set machinery into motion.

Riolu  Lv. 29
 Fighting
OT: Banzu
Serious nature.
11/5/2014
Caldera
Met at Lv. 17.
Strong willed.

Ability: Steadfast (Boosts the Speed stat each time the Pokémon flinches.)
Moves:
Foresight
Quick Attack
Endure
Counter
Feint
Force Palm
Copycat
Screech
Reversal

Breeding: Undiscovered group, 26 cycles
Personality/Notes: Banzu encountered Riolu while he was in Caldera buying a supply of Calderan steel for testing. Riolu's budding Aura abilities allowed him to sense Banzu's unusually sad mental state at the time, and he approached Banzu to try and offer comfort, which Banzu wanted none of. When Banzu finally used his Warp Band to try and understand why Riolu was following him around, he wasn't happy with the reason given and told Riolu to leave, whereupon Riolu tricked the Warp Band into thinking that they had bonded and was transported back to the Habitat in Union. Since then Riolu has refused to leave Banzu alone and hangs around the port, training on his own, fighting wild Pokémon that want to cause trouble for Banzu, and generally trying to make himself useful while he tries to counsel his unwilling trainer.
Riolu genuinely wants to see the people around him happy and does what he can to try and make them so. He's taken on the role of an informal counselor for Banzu's other Pokémon, and they generally like him, leaving their trainer as the only one who doesn't want Riolu to hang around. Riolu is incredibly stubborn, and once he's set his mind to something there's very little that can deter him from his course. He has a strong sense of honor, and despite wanting to train and get stronger he'll try to come to a non-violent solution to conflicts if he thinks such is possible without risking others' safety. Riolu's stats are excellent all around.

Variance  Lv. 55
 Psychic
OT: Banzu
Quirky nature.
11/9/2014
Coastal Ruins
Met at Lv. 43.
Highly curious.

Ability: Telepathy (Avoids all damaging moves used by its allies.)
Moves:
Confusion

Heal Block
Miracle Eye
Psybeam
Headbutt
Hidden Power (Flying)
Imprison
Simple Beam
Zen Headbutt
Psych Up
Psychic
Calm Mind
Recover

Breeding: Human-Like group, 21 cycles
Personality/Notes: Variance is quite intelligent and curious. He frequently becomes obsessed with a new topic and devotes all his time and energy towards learning about it, before abruptly switching to a new topic. When Banzu met him, Variance was obsessing over the shipbuilding technology and equipment left behind at the Coastal Ruins, hence Banzu's interest in him. His interest abruptly shifted not long after Banzu bonded with him, but Banzu keeps him around anyways, frequently having him man Pathfinder's engine room in place of Multi. His name is a reference to how his interests vary over time.

Relay  Lv. 20
 Ice  Flying
OT: Banzu
Jolly nature.
12/22/2014

Moves:
Present
Rapid Spin (Egg Move)
Freeze-Dry (Tutored)

Breeding: Water 1 group, Field group, 21 cycles
Personality/Notes: Relay loves to dance, and does so at every opportunity, regardless of how appropriate it is. Banzu often has him deliver items to customers for him, leading to a dancing Delibird showing up at people's doors. His name is a reference to his deliveries, where he's relaying items between Banzu and customers.

Thal  Lv. 55
 Dark  Steel
OT: Banzu
Naughty nature.
12/22/2014
Dream World
Met at Lv. 50.
Likes to fight.

Leer
Fury Cutter
Torment
Feint Attack
Scary Face
Metal Claw

Assurance
Metal Sound
Embargo
Iron Defense
Night Slash
Iron Head

Breeding: Human-Like group, 21 cycles
Personality/Notes: Banzu sought Thal out after overhearing a description of an unknown Pokémon that someone had seen in the Dream World, thinking its blades might be useful as cutting tools. They are, but Thal doesn't like using his blades for mundane tasks, preferring to save them for combat. Thal is self-confident, to the point of arrogance at times, and doesn't particularly care about anyone else. Actions he takes are to benefit himself or to make himself look good, and other people are left to fend for themselves. He's something of a bully, trying to make sure that other people see him as the top dog and that he gets what he wants. His name comes from "Thallium", an extremely toxic metal.

Beryll  Lv. 30
 Bug  Steel
OT: Banzu
Hardy nature.
4/4/2015
Deep Mines
Met at Lv. 30.

Moves:
Guillotine
Iron Defense
Metal Sound
Vice Grip
Sand Attack
Fury Cutter
Bite
Agility
Metal Claw
Bug Bite

Breeding: Bug group, 20 cycles
Personality/Notes: Banzu decided to bond with her during one of his attempts to find a good Beldum, after seeing many Durant hard at work during his trips to the Deep Mines. Beryll is calm, quiet, obedient, and hard-working, her purpose in life being to simply do whatever is needed of her. Banzu likes this quality. She's named after the metal beryllium, which both improves the physical properties of alloys - she's a worker Durant - and is an element in the gemstone beryl, which is sometimes red.

Megnes  Lv. 26
 Bug  Steel
OT: Banzu
Hardy nature.
